Pre-school (3 - 5 years)
Our aims are to provide an encouraging and stimulating environment in which young children can first and foremost enjoy the pleasures and discoveries of childhood.
We understand the uniqueness of each child and endeavour to respond to their individual needs. Our curriculum for the older children will be centred on their need to explore their own feelings and develop their own answers.
As children approach their fourth birthday therefore, getting ready for the transition to school, pre-school staff will plan activities designed specifically to further develop those skills the children will need in order to get off to a flying start come to the “big day”.
Staff will always take time to discuss any concerns with parents /carers and to share the achievements of their children, on a daily basis, whenever possible.
