At this stage we introduce a little more structure into your child's play. Activities such as circle time, shared meal times, dressing skills and toilet training support this stage. We will promote self- help skills such as dressing and feeding themselves, staff will promote table manners by being a good role model, and encouraging children to say “thank you” and “please” etc.
There will be periods of outdoor play throughout the day, which will be used for both free play and focused activities/ organised games which the child may choose to join in. In good weather activities will be transported to the outdoor play areas to take advantage of the fresh air and the added dimension of outdoor play activities.
